We went to the hotel restaurant yesterday in order to explore (we are looking for a place to organize a wedding dinner). Adrian, the waiter, greeted us warmly at the doorstep of the restaurant. A very nice and polite man. People who are passionate about their profession are not everywhere. He was acting naturally and in no way forced. Hand on heart, I must admit that the food is delicious there! We ordered parsley and carrot cream - very aromatic, not overdone. Just a note, a very large portion;) For me, twice :) For the main course, we ordered a sous-vide goose and a traditional roulade with dumplings and cabbage. The parsnip cream with a hint of vanilla was phenomenal! Everything exceeded my expectations :)

Recommended, always well attended. Our favorite restaurant. Before the Corona time, you had to reserve in good time. Online reservation has always worked so far. And the most important food and service is great.

Unfortunately the last time the service was a disaster. We were regulars and were often there and always enjoyed the food. But this time the service was so overloaded that the drinks came much later than the starter. That would be acceptable, but when we wanted to reorder rice from the waiter, which he answered by nodding, it took over 25 minutes until he was finally at the table and asked what we would like. The food was cold by then and we expressed our displeasure. Then came a little apology that he took so long, it was just full. In the meantime he had served several tables, picked up and served food. Despite repeated requests, he only came to us after 25 minutes. Since the food was cold, we got the bill, on which there was also no goodwill. Instead, although we were noticeably dissatisfied, we were asked several times whether we wanted to leave the amount on the card or give a tip. When there was no tip from us after asking twice, the amount was booked, the receipt was placed on the table without comment and the waiter disappeared without a word. We will soon go to other restaurants, mistakes could happen anywhere, but this behavior towards guests is unacceptable to us. We haven't seen anything like that before.

We ate here spontaneously and were greeted in a very friendly manner. Inside, the restaurant makes a very good impression. From the outside, on the other hand, it looks a bit "cheaper" than it really is. This is due, among other things, to the not-so-high-quality tables and chairs as well as the adjacent "wash boxes" for cars. We were very satisfied with the food. In any case, you can't complain about the price-performance ratio. I ordered duck with rice and peanut sauce. Here it should only have been a little less rice and possibly a little more vegetable side dish. If the restaurant were a little closer to where I live, I would definitely come back again!

So, first of all, many thanks to the other reviewers. We cannot share your opinion. Very old in terms of ambience. Walls partly dirty, chairs dirty. Buffet: very, very well arranged. We didn't like the food. Accordingly, a lot was left on the plate at times. As a rule, you know Chinese cuisine and what it tastes like. Personnel: This is the Oberhammer. Because there was so much food going back into the kitchen, the staff started to argue. I should get a little to try and if it tastes good then get me more! I don't find that hospitable at all but under all pig. The criticism that the food was not tasty was commented that I should then get less. Value for money: If you only want to look at food for money, then it is in the frame. Conclusion: we will not come back again. Recommendation: For the buffet, please go to another Chinese.

Great Chinese and the best in Garbsen for several decades. Service is relatively attentive and serves quite friendly. Buffet is really lonely in the evenings and there is nothing to complain about in terms of quality and selection. Really recommendable and keep it up.
